Kramer Introduces Compact Stereo Power Amplifier

New Model 900 Stereo Power Amplifier Epitomizes Simple, Creative Technology

09 August 2006

Jerusalem, Israel– August 8, 2006 –Kramer Electronics, a worldwide supplier of innovative and reliable signal management products, is pleased to announce the introduction of the extremely compact model 900 stereo power amplifier which is both cost- effective and elegant in its simple, straight-forward design.

The 900 stereo power amplifier has all the features necessary to amplify a stereo audio signal with no additional frills. That makes this model very cost-effective, and at the same time very practical. The 900 accepts either unbalanced stereo audio on RCA inputs or balanced stereo audio on terminal block connectors and delivers a speaker output of 9 watts RMS per channel into a 4 ohm load. It includes a volume control and has a signal- to-noise ratio of 63db unweighted. The speaker output is on 4-pin terminal block connectors.

The 900 is part of the Kramer TOOLS™ family of compact, high quality and cost- effective solutions. It measures approximately 4 ¾” wide by 3” deep and 1” high.

With its basic feature set and excellent price point, the 900 represents the entry level model in a growing family of Kramer compact stereo audio power amplifiers. Other models available from Kramer are the 901, the 902 and the 903. The 901 personal stereo amplifier has both line and mic level inputs, balance, bass and treble controls and a headphone output. The 902 personal stereo amplifier is a little larger than the 900 and 901, has four unbalanced audio inputs that the user can switch between, and it adds a loudness switch and a mid range control that the 901 does not have. The 903 is the same as the 902 in terms of features, but it outputs a much higher speaker power level than the 902 at 10 watts RMS per channel into a 4 ohm load. The new 900 is the only model that will accept a balanced stereo audio signal.
