Kramer's lightning fast 4K presentation scaler/switcher with cutting−edge video processing technology now features a 15W+15W RMS stereo power amplifier. The new built−in audio capability keeps users from having to attach an audio de−embedder and external amp, simplifying installations. VP−796A is ideal for lecture halls, boardrooms, meeting rooms, houses of worship, and more.

In addition to the product's new power amplifier, the VP−796A includes analog and embedded audio switching, audio−follow−video switching, two microphone inputs with a mixer, and balanced line−level outputs, all within a 1U enclosure.

Like its cousin, the VP−796, the VP−796A typically switches in a quarter of a second, at least four to six times faster than any competitor in the market.

Based on Calibre’s proprietary class−leading HQUltra 4K video processing technology, the VP−796A presentation scaler/switcher offers scaling capabilities far superior to conventional scalers. The product can produce 4K−UHD images from HD content without ugly scaling artifacts and with very low latency. This is crucial for pro AV applications and not achievable with most 4K scaling solutions.

The VP−796A offers a wide range of video inputs for today’s digitally connected Pro AV world, including HDMI, DisplayPort, HDBaseT, VGA, Composite, and DVI−U. The product also features three identical outputs with 4K support: one HDBaseT and two HDMI (one via a DVI connector). VP−796A supports legacy formats, all with exceptional image quality.
