Jerusalem, Israel – October 31, 2005 – Kramer Electronics, Ltd., a worldwide supplier of audio, video and computer graphics signal distribution, switching and processing equipment for the broadcast, production, security, education, home theater and ProAV presentation markets, is pleased to announce the newest addition to its product line, the TP-104 computer graphics video line transmitter and 1:4 twisted pair DA.

The Kramer TP-104 is a range extender for computer graphics video signals originating on a 15-pin HD connector. The unit converts the incoming computer graphics video signal to four identical twisted pair outputs capable of sending a signal with a resolution of up to XGA over CAT5 cable up to a distance of 300ft (100 meters). At the end of each twisted pair run, Kramer twisted pair to computer graphics video receivers such as the TP-120 can be employed to convert the signal back to a 15-pin HD signal computer graphics video signal..

“The TP-104 is the perfect solution when a single computer graphics video signal needs to be distributed over long distances to multiple displays,” states Chris Kopin, vice president of Product Development for Kramer Electronics USA. “The TP-104 is a straightforward product embodying everything a system designer or installer could hope for. It is simple, easy to use, compact, economical and reliable.”

The TP-104 has a video bandwidth of more than 150MHz. It can power or be powered by the receiver over the same CAT5 cable that carries the video signal. The TP-104 is housed in a compact Kramer TOOLS enclosure, and is 12VDC fed.

The Kramer TP-104 is now in stock and available through Kramer Electronics sales offices worldwide.
